Sports Air Filters
Are you achieving the full potential of your present carburettors???
| The full airflow potential
of your carburettor(s) may be limited by rhe contraction effect
in the inlet airstream caused by an abrupt entry into the
carburettor mouth. INCREASED AIRFLOW CAN INCREASE POWER POTENTIAL Flow bench tests have proven that a suitably shaped entry to the carburettor can result in a gain of 6% in airflow over a straight carburettor entry and almost 12% over a straight 'ram' tube. ![]() Why not gain the most benefit from your carburettor investment?? Fit the Manufactured in high quality cast aluminium alloy for added benefit of reducing the intake noise level. All units are hand finished and presented in an alloy/bright silver look with clear powder coat for appearance and longevity. Increased airflow potential Greater rpm potential Improved economy potential* Quieter operation Choice of economical replacement element** or K&N serviceable 'million mile' elements. * Dependent on driving conditions and manner. ** Applies to Hi-Flow models only. |

COLD AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS
| Many modern mid-engined sports
cars can suffer from loss of inlet air density due to inhaling
hot engine
compartment air. When increased performance is sought, most enthusiasts seek a less restrictive air filter system than factory plastic boxes. In these installations there is usually a vent in the side of the car body to assist in delivering ventilation to this hot environment. Why not take advantage of this ? - place a pod filter in this area and lead this cooler air direct to the throttle body. Given this opportunity, why not use a thermal barrier on the tube to further reduce the tendency for heat transfer?? That's exactly what we did. ![]() |
