Coolingmist CMGS Stage 2 Kit


The CMGS Stage 2 kit has a digital controller (Version 4.11) that can be adjusted from 1-30 PSI* on start and full boost with a built-in map sensor and injects fluid proportionally, based on manifold (boost) pressure, as boost is increased so is water / methanol flow.
The 3 digit readout on the digital display will display Vacuum/Boost (in psi)in real time by default and can be configured to display Vacuum/Boost (in Bar or In/Hg), MAF value, pump electrical status or duty cycle.

*(If desired a 1-100 PSI version is available - red display only).

The MIN dial is the start of injection point.
The MAX dial is full flow point.
The system will turn on when boost reaches MIN setting and as boost increases it will inject more until the MAX setting is reached.

After reaching MAX setting full flow will remain.

(200 - 250 psi) recirculation
type with EPDM seals to
assure higher heat tolerance
and full methanol compatibility.

Switch is set at 10 psi - adjustable
by using a 5/64" hex key.
Will turn the system on when preset
boost is reached and stay on to a
max. of 60 psi.

COOLINGMIST systems

The CMGS is the latest progressive controller from Coolingmist.

The electronic controller is housed in a 1 1/16" (52 mm) gauge.

By default the CMGS will progressively inject based on boost and will display vacuum and boost. Adjustment range is 0-30 psi boost with built-in map sensor and it injects fluid proportionally based on manifold (boost) pressure.

This kit gives the most accurate delivery of any kit on the market. CMGS has been designed from the ground up to give the best performance. It features an all new state of the art system with the most comprehensive failsafe on the market.

The gauge will display Vacuum/Boost (in psi) on the 3 digit readout by default.
Can be configured to display Vacuum/Boost (in Bar or In/Hg), MAF value, pump electrical status or duty cycle.
Across the top the gauge has a 10 bar display, each bar represents 10% duty cycle (verified using Fail Safe Box).


The FSB (FAILSAFE BOX) is an all new potted electronic pump reading module. This module never comes in contact with any fluid so the reliability is without equal.
The FSB is installed between the CMGS and the pump controlling the fluid solenoid. This unit will log several criteria about the pumps operation and send it to the CMGS. CMGS will store this in flash memory. CMGS will expect the system to be operating within the logged parameters.

If there is a deviation, the CMGS will trip an error code and trip the yellow failsafe wire based on how this has been set up (inormally open by default). The problem must be fixed and the power “cycled” before the yellow wire and the code will clear. The FSB can be used independently or with a flow sensor, however a flow sensor cannot be run without the FSB.

The CMGS System X includes the Autolearn failsafe feature.
Traditional failsafe typically have to be manually setup and check if all is within that range.

Everything changes with CMGS Autolearn.

With CMGS System X protection is from 25% duty cycle to 100% duty cycle and all points in between. In addition to the industry first AUTOLEARN feature.
Once installed the system will learn.
There are 2 failsafe signal units available.
