Filter Element Notes
Elements
are factory oiled, ready to fit and do not require any additional oil.
Use
only the recommended K&N Filter cleaner and Filter oil (at approx. 30,000 to
50,000 miles) to ensure satisfactory service life.
General
Fitting Notes
When
fitting Hi-Flow Sports Air Filters centralize the inlet diameters of the filter
base and gasket to the carburettor throat whilst mounting screws are only finger
tight.
All
AF 114, AF 112, AF 114 K and AF 112 K Filter assemblies are
supplied with 5/16" UNC screws to suit threaded carburettor flange.
All
AF 118, AF 134, AF 134 HIF, AF 118 K, AF 134 K, AF 134 HIF K and AFT
112, AFT 134, AFT 134 HIF and AFT 200 Filter assemblies are supplied
with 1/4" UNC screws to mount into the filter base.
All
AF 40, AF 41, AF 44 and AF 45 Filter assemblies are supplied with
M6 screws to suit threaded carburettor flange.
For
MG B application :
AF
112 and AF 112 K Filter assemblies are supplied with long 5/16"
UNF screws to suit factory "horse-shoe" carburettor fittings.
